Ministries

There are various ways parishioners can become involved in the life of their parish community. Liturgical ministries are one example of ways individuals can dedicate their time and talents to the celebration of Masses and special service.​

Altar ServersServers assist the priest at Mass. Children who have received their first holy Communion are eligible to be servers. Adult servers are also needed

Choir and CantorsProvide musical support of full and active participation in the liturgy. Contact Eric Blanda (organist) after Mass in Masontown and Footedale. 
Communion Ministers
to the Homebound
These ministers take Communion to those who are in the hospital or are homebound and are unable to join us for Mass. Contact Father Anthony at

Extraordinary Ministers of
Holy Communion
These ministers assist in the distribution of Communion during Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected].
Funeral Altar ServersThe Funeral Altar Servers assist the priest in serving the Funeral Masses. Adults welcome! Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected].
Funeral ChoirThe Funeral Choir assists the grieving members of a funeral assembly by leading the sung prayers of the funeral liturgy. It is a ministry of service, love, and   support on behalf of the whole parish community. LectorsLectors proclaim sacred Scripture from the Lectionary for Mass during Sunday Mass and daily Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected].
SacristansSacristans help prepare for Mass and for funerals (sacred vessels, liturgical books, Paschal Candle, etc.).  Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email
