Ministries
There are various ways parishioners can become involved in the life of their parish community. Liturgical ministries are one example of ways individuals can dedicate their time and talents to the celebration of Masses and special service.

Arts & Environment | Assist the art and environment needs of the church throughout the year. The group offers ideas, talents, and the valuable hands-on assistance to help create the beauty of our worship space. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
Choir and Cantors | Provide musical support of full and active participation in the liturgy. Contact Eric Blanda (organist) after Mass in Masontown and Footedale. |
Communion Ministers to the Homebound | These ministers take Communion to those who are in the hospital or are homebound and are unable to join us for Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion | These ministers assist in the distribution of Communion during Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
Funeral Altar Servers | The Funeral Altar Servers assist the priest in serving the Funeral Masses. Adults welcome! Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
Funeral Choir | The Funeral Choir assists the grieving members of a funeral assembly by leading the sung prayers of the funeral liturgy. It is a ministry of service, love, and support on behalf of the whole parish community. Lectors | Lectors proclaim sacred Scripture from the Lectionary for Mass during Sunday Mass and daily Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
Sacristans | Sacristans help prepare for Mass and for funerals (sacred vessels, liturgical books, Paschal Candle, etc.). Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email dcortado@dioceseofgreensburg.org. |
Users/Greeters | Welcome and assist in seating congregants, providing assistance to the handicapped, taking up collections, coordinating gift bearers, and attending to the ill during Sunday Mass. Contact Father Anthony at 724-583-7866 or email [email protected]. |
